These journals are based on 3rd and 4th Century Coptic bindings, the very earliest books, that had wooden board covers and the same lovely link stitch on the spine. The beauty of this journal is that it lies absolutely flat when opened. Because of this it is very easy to write in and also makes a wonderful sketch book. These journals may be custom ordered as guest books for weddings or other special events. Many beautiful papers are available and the stitching is done in matching waxed linen.
